FAQ's

WHAT HAND DOES THE WEB GO ON? RIGHT HANDED SWING/LEFT HANDED SWING?

The web only goes on the top hand, as this is the hand that takes on the most sting at contact.

Right Handed Hitter = Right Hand (Top Hand)

Left Handed Hitter = Left Hand (Top Hand)

On the product page, you will be asked if you are left-handed or right-handed. If you prefer your pair of gloves not to have web technology, select the (NO WEB) option. Holding the bat closer to the fingers in the top hand also increases batting performance. The web ensures that the bat stays in the proper position as you swing.

DO YOU OFFER TRADITIONAL (NO WEB) GLOVES?

Yes, we now offer traditional batting gloves (without web) as one of our options. This way, players who have a different protection preference can still enjoy the quality of our batting gloves.

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY POLICY?

We take great pride in delivering gloves of exceptional quality. While we do not claim our gloves to be indestructible, we confidently assert that they are of the highest quality available in the market. However, it's important to note that leather, being a natural material, may undergo wear and tear over time and use.

While we do not offer a standard warranty on our products, we stand behind our commitment to ensuring your satisfaction. If you encounter any defect issues with your batting gloves within 30 days, please reach out to us at info@jaxbattinggloves.com. To help us better assist you, kindly provide images that showcase any damage, as well as the palms of the gloves to illustrate wear, along with your order number or proof of purchase.

In most cases, we are more than willing to replace the gloves at no additional cost. If you've been using the gloves for longer than 30 days and find yourself dissatisfied, we may offer a discount towards a new pair. We firmly believe in fair treatment, and we appreciate your understanding that we are a local small business.

To initiate the satisfaction guarantee process, please send us the required information via email, and our team will be ready to assist you promptly.

WHEN WILL YOU BE BACK IN STOCK IN A PARTICULAR GLOVE?

At Jax, we offer a wide range of glove variations, including colors, sizes, and web hand. Due to the diversity of our inventory and being a small business, keeping every item in stock can be challenging.

To stay updated on restocks, simply sign up for email alerts on the specific product page you're interested in. We'll notify you as soon as it's back in stock. Additionally, subscribing to our email list gives you exclusive access to restock information and special offers.

ARE THE GLOVES GOOD FOR YOUTH PLAYERS?

Yes, Jax gloves are extremely beneficial for youth players as young ball players typically struggle to hold the bat properly.  Jax web design fixes this problem for the young hitters.  Our Small sized glove will fit the majority of youth players of at least 9 years old.

WHY IS PROPER TOP HAND GRIP SO IMPORTANT?

Proper grip with the top hand (bat held near the fingers) promotes more whip and bat speed as you swing.  More bat speed means more power.  Jax web design enforces this proper top hand grip, leading to better production at the plate.

DO YOU DO EXCHANGES?

If you have received a pair of Jax Batting Gloves and realize that they are the wrong size, you can exchange them within two weeks of receiving them, as long as they have not been used. To initiate an exchange, please send a email to info@jaxbattinggloves.com with the subject "Size Exchange" and include your order number. We will then provide a prepaid return label for you to send the gloves back to us. Once we receive the gloves, we will initiate the exchange process and send you the correct size. The exchange process can take up to 2 weeks.
For a faster exchange process, we recommend placing a new order for the desired gloves. We ship Monday-Friday, and most likely, your order will be shipped the next business day. Once we receive the returned gloves and email confirmation, we will promptly issue a refund for the original pair. This will cut down the entire process by a large margin, and lessen the risk of running out of stock in the process of your exchange.

Premature ripping and tearing can be caused by the following:

- Rough patches on bat handles or knobs

- Wearing gloves on base baths and sliding with them on.

- Pulling gloves or using the wristband only

- Pulling gloves off using one finger only

- Allowing gloves to become overly dry
